Companies report quarterly results either before the market opens or after it closes, and the stock often moves sharply when the numbers come out. This page lists the largest companies scheduled to report each day, this week and next, with the session each has indicated. It is refreshed every week.
How to read this calendar
Each day lists up to twelve of the biggest reporters by market value. Before the open means the report comes out ahead of the 9:30am Eastern open, so the reaction shows up in that day’s opening price. After the close means the report comes out after the 4:00pm Eastern close, so the reaction shows up the next morning. Where a company has not confirmed a time, the table says so.

Why earnings days matter for options
Option premiums tend to rise ahead of a known earnings date because the market expects a larger move, and they often fall sharply once the report is out, even when the stock moves in the direction you wanted. This drop in implied volatility is often called IV crush. A stock can also gap past your planned exit, which is one reason many traders reduce size or stay out of the hours around a report.
